Vertical Laminar Sampling & Dispensing Booth
Among the exciting emerging value-engineered technologies are isolation and containment under sub turbulent ISO Class 5 (Fed Std 209E Class 100) SMCR is in the forefront, fully geared to render comprehensive support to the industry.
Containment systems are particularly useful for
- Work with Active Process Ingredients
- Powder weighing. Dispensing & sampling
- Work with cortico steroids
- Work with low toxic or otherwise low risk hazardous materials.
Sampling, specially substances that are either hazardous or of unknown origin
The new concept is to use a “Sampling booth” that effectively controls the average airborne dust with in the area. For details on “Sampling booth” refer Drawing.
We expertise in point-source containment and in the precise control of particles in an air stream is reflected in the patented features of our down flow booths, sampling stations, and customized workstations. Laminar Flow booths achieve extremely low exposure levels without restricting the operator’s movements. Modular design allows quick and simple installation. Stainless steel construction provides durability and appearance.
The Laminar Flow from the HEPA plenum effectively contains dust at source while dispensing. It is clearly evident that air borne dust if any will be drawn in through the pre-filter in the reverse flow booth and will be recycled though HEPA before being delivered. The operator is clearly protected as the dust propels away from his breathing zone.
Our Sub-Turbulent Flow Systems for Product Sampling and Dispensing are designed as Open Front Containment Systems with built-in scavenging arrangements that draw powder aerosols away from the operator and the operating environment, protecting product and personnel.
